Decorating Our Hallway for the Holidays

A Little Bit of Christmas Magic…

I’m so late when it comes to decorating my hallway for Christmas, but there was no way I was going to do it. After making over the space, I was ready to embrace the season. It didn’t take that long to decorate the area itself, however, we have a new addition to the family (as you would have seen on my Instagram) that delayed me getting a bit of time to myself to do it.

When it came to decorating my hallway for Christmas, I wanted to go classic and I knew I had to have a garland on the banister. I found this one and fell in love. It’s ideal and it ties in the garland we have downstairs perfectly. It adds a little be of magic without being too overwhelming. Completed with some ribbon and some cow bells and the look was completed…

The other thing that I wanted to work on was changing up the gallery wall. This is something that I’ve always wanted to do, changing up the artwork each season. I went with these vintage prints, the encompass the season perfectly. I love this little moment of joy in our home, it makes me smile every time I pass it. Of course, I have to change up the prints on the stairs also. It’s a great little view point as you’re coming up the stairs or from the bathroom.

I do hope you love this little moment of joy in my home, it’s not for long but it always makes me smile and brings a little bit of Christmas magic upstairs. I can’t wait for when I decorate more of the rooms upstairs, it’s going to look amazing next year.
