My Must Have Recommended Coffee Table Books

Because you know my addiction to a coffee table book…

If I was to define myself as an expert in anything, I could confidently say that I was one in coffee table books. I have a fast growing collection of them (and an every growing saved items list on Amazon). If you are ever struggling for a gift for me, you can’t go wrong with a good hardback that I can display on my coffee table. With my collection, I say I can make a good recommendation to people. In fact, one of my most ask questions on Instagram is which coffee table books I would recommend. So to put all this information in one place here are my top five must have coffee table books that you cannot go wrong with buying.

CUPCAKES & CASHMERE AT HOME.

Out of all my must have coffee table book recommendations, this one will always be the first on my list. It was one of the first books that I brought and I’ve not stopped loving it. I’ve been a huge fan of Emily Schuman’s blog for the longest time and when she brought her home I was fascinated with the renovation process. Her second book is full of great advice for decorating your home, which also translates perfectly for rental properties too. It’s a small but might coffee table book that I think everyone should own.

FLOWERS EVERY DAY.

I am a huge fan of fresh flowers in my home and have been looking for new ways to incorporate them into my home. This book goes through all the seasons and the best flowers and ways to arrange them in your home. I have so many ideas for autumn thanks to this book. I also love the wedding floral section of this book, one I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to do their own flowers for their big day or just want a bit of inspiration.

ABODE.

A coffee table book that I actually brought for the cover, but cannot put down. This book has given me a whole new way of looking at decor, particular renovating. Whilst I cannot do much at the moment in our rental home, I have some amazing ideas for when we do eventually buy. My husband better get ready to do some serious DIY! This book also goes into the finer details that can make or break a room, from the colour of the stain on wooden floors, to paint application, this book is full of practical advice.

HOME BODY.

When Joanna Gaines says she’ll create you a home that you won’t want to leave, she truly means it. I love American homes, something that I do want to emulate when we eventually buy a house. When we do, I am going to be using this book as a bible. I love the interior vibes and the professional advice that Joanna gives you. Her writing is very personal, it’s like a friend talking you through things rather than a professional talking down to you. A great one to read in the evening and escape to a whole other world.

FOR THE LOVE OF WHITE.

The White Company is one of my favourite home brands, so when I found out they had a book coming out, it was immediately added to my basket. I love the three different style of homes that this book goes into, with the townhouse being my favourite. Again, full of great advice and projects to consider if you’re taking on a renovation- I love the pantry ideas!
