DIY Rope Frame
Adding a Little Nautical Texture to the Home…
It’s safe to say that I had a little too much fun with this DIY rope frame. It was such a cute DIY to do over the weekend, I just couldn’t keep it to myself. So, not only did I show it off over on my YouTube channel, I decided to commit it to a blog post as well.
The inspiration for this DIY rope frame came from one of my favourite home stores, McGee & Co. I saw the frame on the website and thought it was gorgeous. Till I saw the price. At over $50, it seemed a ridiculous price for a frame. Especially when I knew I could DIY it.
I could go on and on about how easy this DIY is. It took me a day and was just too easy to do. I had the majority of the materials for the DIY in my home, it was really the frame that I needed. Which, I managed to pick up in the safe for £3.
Overall, this DIY rope frame was a steal. It was a day to make and cost me nothing. Certainly a DIY project for newbies. The only technical thing is the wrapping of the rope and using a hot glue gun which is not that bad at all.
