Cookbooks for 2023

It’s Time to Cook Up Some Delicious Food for the Year…

One of my goals for the year is to cook more. Naturally, I took to the internet to find interesting cookbooks that would spark some inspiration to get creative in the kitchen. I also like to decorate our kitchen with cookbooks, they add some interest, texture and colour into the room.

Lee and I are foodies, so we are willing to try out anything. For me, I love to discover new cuisines and cultures. We are hoping to travel this year, so I hope to discover more dishes on these trips. I’m hoping for some good weather ASAP so we can enjoy some alfresco dining as soon as possible.

A Table: Recipes for Cooking and Eating the French Way

I love French food, so this cookbook is at the top of my list to own. I can’t wait to cook from it during the Spring time.

Six California Kitchens: A Collection of Recipes, Stories, and Cooking Lessons from a Pioneer of California Cuisine

Another one I can’t wait to add to the collection and have on display. This one will be ideal for summer outdoor entertaining.

Portugal, The Cookbook

We are going to Lisbon this summer, so I’m excited to try out some of the local cuisine prior to the trip. This cookbook should be ideal for trying them out.
