Finally a Change in the Seasons…
It’s finally a change to the season and time for my autumnal wardrobe update. Autumn is my favourite season and time of the year. It’s cosy tones, warm knits and textures. Plus, it’s blazer season, a staple in my wardrobe.
This year, I’m thinking of really refining my wardrobe, going quite minimal with it. We don’t have a large wardrobe space, but I’ve just really been into the minimal lifestyle. Ever since I discovered Shira Gill and her idea of a capsule wardrobe. The capsule wardrobe idea has been around for a while, but Shira’s is a lot less complicated and restrictive. Whilst I appreciate people who can live off 12 items in total, it’s not the life for me.
However, I toying with the idea of having a massive clearout and really refining down the items in my wardrobe. I’m going to ned to change up from my summer to autumn/ winter wardrobe and I’m sure that I’m going to need to get a few more pieces to add it it. Mainly, I really want to add a pair of leather trousers to them. In addition to this, I really want to get myself a cape this year. I love this one and think it would be perfect for my country wardrobe.
