Simple Pieces that Will Complete Your Wardrobe…

As someone who loves the simple things in life, the idea of a capsule wardrobe pleases me greatly. I love the thought of just investing in good quality pieces. Personally, I would much rather invest and spend more money on some lovely quality pieces that will stand the test of time.

One place that I’ve recently discovered that caters to this are Saint & Sofia. They have a small collection of classic pieces. DRESSES.

Dresses used to be that one item that I’d only wear for special occasions. However, recently I’ve been investing in more day dresses and not saving all items just for nights out. A dress is a great item to throw on and head out on your day. This dress is so practical for running errands. It looks great with some flats, however, you can put on some heels and head out for dinner with the girls. Plus, it has pockets. Who doesn’t love that?

PLAIN TEES.

My ultimate basic that I recommend everyone has in their wardrobe. Pain tees can be dressed up, casual down. They are so versatile that you should always have multiple ones of them in your wardrobe. SKIRTS.

Again, not an item that you’d usually find in my wardrobe. However, it’s a great option for throwing on with one of your basic tees. Allowing you to create some fabulous outfits and to get on with your day. This gorgeous spotty skirt, like the dress, comes with pockets, making it super practical. Come the colder months, this would also look great with a jumper thrown over it. Great for a day out in the town, whilst being snug.

TROUSERS.

A must-have in everyone’s wardrobes. However, trousers come in many different styles and shape. For me, I feel a great pair of culottes, long trousers and leggings will do the trick. These city culottes suit a short-legged girl like me perfectly. Also, these sculpting leggings are a must-have! Sculpting but comfort, this is exactly what you need to wear when lounging around the house.

OUTERWEAR.

Finally, to finish off the look (especially during this time of the year) you need a good old coat. Outerwear is 100% something you should be spending a couple of pennies on. Personally I rather have two or three good coats than a wardrobe full of them. Within my wardrobe, I have a great winter coat and a classic trench coat, which is great for this time of the year. This trench coat is simply stunning and will stand the test of time. This can be used throughout the Autumnal months and will go with practically every outfit in your wardrobe. Such a versatile piece, a mush have for everyone.
