Our New Coffee Shop

The Start of a New Era…

It’s recently occurred to me that our new coffee shop has been opened almost six months and I’ve yet to document it. So welcome to the new Miles & Co Coffee shop!

A lot has happened since we opened. The biggest news is that we, gulp, closed the OG store. In all honestly, this was something we were planning to do from the beginning. We loved our small space, but we grew out of it so quickly. So when we started we knew we would move everything over. However, it worked out that we could have both shops open for a while we did. However, the decision to close we due to simplicity. We’ve never wanted to be the next Starbucks. One shop will do us fine.

The new coffee shop is doing so well. Customers are happy, we’ve been experimenting with new drinks and branching out with new products.

Welcome to Miles & Co Cofee…

The new Miles & Co Coffee allowed me to decorate a whole new space. And boy, was I ready. My inspiration was straight out of a Nancy Meyers film. Think Jane’s bakery in It’s Complicated. I wanted a lived-in space, somewhere you could feel like the main character in your own life. Of course, I had to add my own touches, there are vintage pieces, stuff I got off Facebook Marketplace and a nod to my love for reality TV.

We went for a butcher block counter with the biggest island we could create. The bar is one of my favourite places to hang out. Finally, the plants. I went a little crazy. But with the amount of light we get in our shop, I wanted to take advantage of.

I love our new space. Miles & Co Coffee has a new home and I cannot wait for you to visit.
