DIY Renter Friendly Fireplace Mantle
Adding a Touch of Charm to Our Rental Home…
I’m so happy to finally show off my latest DIY project. This DIY renter friendly fireplace is the perfect addition to our rental home. The latest webisode on my YouTube channel, this project was a labour of love. From getting this fabulous Facebook Marketplace find home to stripping back layers of aged-old paint.
This project took a lot of time and effort, but was 100% worth it. It’s made such a difference to our primary bedroom. It’s added charm, texture and dimension to the chimney wall. I was worried about having the picture light and artwork looking like it was floating. This fireplace mantle helps with ensuring that everything is anchored into place.
This was the final DIY project for the primary bedroom makeover. This is project has been a labour of live and I’m looking forward to showing off the final finishing touches to the space. This room is looking incredible, finally like the primary bedroom that we deserve.
