Quiet Luxury at Home
Adding that Extra Element of Design to Your Home…
It’s fair to say that ‘quiet luxury’ has taken social media by storm. It’s all over my TikTok and Instagram. Personally, I love the trend, it’s part of that classic look you can add to your wardrobe that I live by. But did you know that you can have the element of quiet luxury at home?
Yes, you can add that element of design to your home. And something that I’m already decorating my home with. But how can you get this quiet luxury in your own home? Well, stay tune to find out…
What is Quiet Luxury at Home?
Quiet luxury in general is a state of mind. Ultimately it’s refined elegance. To capture quiet luxury at home, you have to stay away from anything trendy. Mainly anything extravagant our gaudy. For me, it’s all about a neutral palette filled with luxorious textures.
However, you do not need to spend hundreds to acheive the look of quiet luxury at home. There are so many different tips and tricks you can do to add this element to your home.
Start with Your Basics.
By this I mean go back to the beginning. Like right back. If you’re starting a renovation in your home, you’ve got the advantage. For me, what makes a room impressive is looking at those finishing touches to a room. By this I mean your baseboards, ceiling trim, light switches and sockets and walls.
If I was looking at renovating my own home, I’d put alot of my budget into ensuring that my room was completed to the highest finishes I could afford. That way, I can save with the furniture and decor, but the core of the room is screaming quiet luxury.

Essential Elements for Quiety Luxury.
It really depends on what your overall interior’s taste is, but I would say there are a few elements that are must haves in a home to acheive this look. It’s really about mixing textures. So a wool throw is a must along with leather accessories. Gold frames will provide that extra element of soft glam. Finally, rich wood furnutire to really bring that element of heritage to the room.
What really matters is the quality of the furniture. So a well upholstered sofa, high-thread count bedding and plush rugs will help tell this story for you.
How to Style the Quiet Luxury at Home.
Quiet luxury comes from the restraint. So sticking to the neutral palette, you want to mix classic lines with textures and found antiques. There’s minimalism, but also currated. By that I mean including personal touches, such as a collection of frames filled with family photos.
I love the look of old-world feel into a space and that comes from that heritage, passed down from generations styling. Clean but curated. Lived in but refined. That’s what we are aiming for.
