How I’m Caring for My Hair in My 30s
Finally Found a Routine that Works for Me…
I feel like a lightbulb has gone off when it comes to caring for my hair. I used to struggle for a long time when it came to loving my hair. However, call it old age, or simply finding a routine that works for me, I’ve been in love with my hair recently.
Since turning 30, I’ve really been embracing a slower lifestyle. When it comes to caring for my hair, I’ve always been low maintenance. Recently, it’s been about elevating my basics to truly max out what I’ve been given.
I might lose some people here, but I haven’t dyed my hair in over 10 years. The amount of disappointed faces I get when I tell people this is my natural hair colour makes me sad, but is also a big compliment. I can also announce that I don’t have any greys yet, but time will tell.
Caring for My Hair in My 30s.
When it comes to my hair, it’s fine but I have a lot of it. So, I’ve been hunting for the perfect weightless shampoo and conditioner. Recently, I’ve discovered this range by Aveda and I’m obsessed. It smells incredible and feels amazing on my hair. I’ve also found being really strict and only washing my hair every other day makes a difference.
I’ve also fallen in love with this volumising spray. It’s perfect for giving my hair some lift and bounce. For truly giving the hair some lift, I cannot recommend this heated brush. A bargain, but it does the job. I do this after I’ve blow-dried my hair and it takes me five minutes if that. Lots of bounce and my hair is good for the rest of the day.
