Embracing Slow Living

Embracing a New Season of Life…

You may have noticed things have gone a little quiet on here and across social. A new slow living lifestyle has been embraced. When I say I hit the stop button, I truly did.

After weeks of hustling both in my 9-5 and on evenings and weekends, I had enough. More importantly, I wasn’t happy with the content I was creating. I felt like I was pushing stuff out for the sakes of it, and it wasn’t the best. Posting for the sake of posting has never been my vibe, I use to do it back in the day when I was trying to get the blog established. Now that I’m in my 30’s and gone through some things, enoughs enough.

So I stopped everything, but it was never going to be a forever goodbye. I love content creating too much. However, this blog has always been a diary of what’s going on in my life right now. And this new season of like, this new pace, has to be embraced.

What Slow Living Means to Me.

So what does this new pace of living involve when it comes to content creating? Content will still be created, including YouTube. Just not as regular and regimented. Truly, posting and writing things that are important to me. Including video making. I want videos that are informative, eventful and inspiring.

Now, when it comes to my life, slow living involves actually embracing my weekends. I’m starting a new job in a few weeks that’s going to give me more time a flexibility. Lee and I are working on a potential secret project that as soon as I can speak about it I will.

I spend most of my weekend gardening (yes, I’m an old grandma), cooking, reading and dog walks. I feel recharged and ready for the next week. I’ve never really given myself time to relax outside my job, and it’s refreshing.

All this whilst ensuring I bring a little elevated eveyday living to my life. Smalls steps that make a big difference to your life. Something I’m hoping to bring to you so that you can incorporate it into your lives also.
