The Decor Piece My Home was Waiting For…

I’ve been waiting to try this DIY white aged terracotta vase project for so long. It’s one of those DIY projects I’ve been waiting a while for and have finally found the time for.

This project is once again a McGee & Co dupe. I saw this on the website and knew that I wanted this in my home. Now, I’ve tried this faux stone technique many moons ago. To date, it is the most popular video on my YouTube channel. This time, I’ve somewhat perfected it. I’m so happy with the results of this project, it’s genuinely one of my favourite home decor pieces in my house right now.

This DIY project is 100% for beginners. There are no tools involved, you need the paint you want for the finished results, some baking soda and a weekend free. The baking soda is what creates the textured effect. However, fair warning. Once you start, you cannot stop. You’ll want to texture everything up in your home.

This project is a good one for building up your confidence. It’s a great way of creating unique home decor pieces in a room that no one else will have. Plus, when it comes to these types of decor pieces, they are so expensive. This is a fabulous way of getting the look in your home without breaking the bank.

If you would like a full breakdown of the video DIY, check out the webisode over on my YouTube channel.
