My Yearly Reset and Goals
Starting the New Year on the Right Foot…
Hello! I’m back and I’m focused and ready to make 2023 the best year yet. In the lead up to the new year, I started working on my yearly reset and the goals that I want for the new year. After the year I had (more on that explained on my Instagram and YouTube channel), I’m glad to put 2022 behind me and start afresh. I love a new year, new start. However, this year, I’m looking forward to it more and more.
For my yearly reset, I’m leaning into manifesting the life I want. I’m determined to make sure that by the end of the year, the life that I want is already in motion. I’ve dabbed in manifestation in the past, but in the week between Christmas and New Years, I was devouring the subject. My friend’s book really helped me get in the right mindset. Funding My Life for the Future.
Along with the right mindset, I’m really using this as the year to get my finances into a place to fund my future. I’ve spoken about I’ve got my pension on track to ensure grandma Elle is set for retirement. I’m also working towards investments for the future and ensuring that our main saving goals are met this year. The main one being a house and starting a family.
I’ve spoken about how I budget for the month in one of my vlogs, something that I should commit to a blog post one day. But building my own wealth and having some financial freedom is something that I want to ensure that I tick off this year.
Creating Experiences.
Something that I’m hoping to do this year is to do more experiences. Part of this is travelling. We have one oversea holiday booked, a weekend trip to Scotland and an Easter break in Wales planned. I would very much like to do more travelling this year, perhaps a European city break. I’m also hoping I can start saving to fund an American trip in 2024. I’d love to go to New York again and Washington DC.
Also, I’m looking forward to lots of hanging out with friends and family. It’s going to be a wholesome year for me.
Home Makeovers.
Finally something that I’m working on is our home makeovers. Whilst we’d love to buy, this is more likely to happen in 2024/ 2025. So, until then, we hope to make our rental home as homely and peaceful as possible. It’s also a source of content and income for my blog and YouTube. I love these projects, they keep me creative and help me share my inspiration and style with you lovely lot.
The first room makeover will be happening very soon, so keep your eyes on my Instagram and YouTube for the beginnings of this makeover.
By the end of 2023, I’m hoping that we’ll have at least 90% of the house completed.
