Some Spooky Decor for the Home…

Another day, another DIY project. This time, it’s showcasing my gorgeous DIY terracotta pumpkins. This project started because I was looking to get my hands on some designer decor pieces for Autumn. However, like most stuff I’ve fallen in love with, it was either not available in the UK or too expensive. Both of these points applied to the Pottery Barn pumpkins that I spotted on their Instagram feed.

So with this in mind, I set my sights on a project and trying out this DIY terracotta pumpkins challenge. Turns out, they are so simple to create. If you check out my YouTube webisode, you’ll see the twist and turns I went on to get the finished results.

This DIY terracotta pumpkin project is ideal for a rainy day afternoon. It’s so simple you’ll have this completed in a weekend. Plus, there’s nothing used that is too difficult to find. The main thing is making sure to find the shape and style of pumpkin decor that you want to use as the base of this project.

I definitely think that I’ll try this out on some other shapes and styles, not just for the holidays. Certainly, this project is a great base for creating terracotta pots for inside the home. It’s definitely got the creative juices flowing.
