A Spooky Fall Decor Update to My Home
It’s Time for the Holiday Decor…
It’s officially October, which means it’s time to introduce some spooky fall decor into my home. I love this time of year for decorating. From October onwards I’m always decorating my home for the holidays. I’m truly the Martha Stewart of England. Just with till you see what I do for Christmas.
To begin with, let me talk you through my spooky fall decor…
Inside Our Home.
When it comes decorating my home for fall, I really concentrate it in our living room. Maybe one day I’ll add some other rooms to the list, once all the makeovers are completed. The feature of our home is our fireplace. I love to decorate it with bats, they are so simple but add a whimsical touch to the room.
Along with the bats are my two terracotta pumpkins that I DIY myself (you can follow the video on my YouTube channel). Speaking of pumpkins, I updated my white fabric pumpkins this year and stored them in a wooden dough bowl. I love this simple, vintage looking decor piece. It adds a little character to my coffee table.
Our Outdoor Space.
The final space to give an update with spooky fall decor makeover was our outdoor spaces. Since giving our front door a makeover, I had to decorate this entrance a makeover. I absolutely love it! When it came to pumpkins this year, I decided to go for the gourdy-looking ones, I love their subtle colour, so tonal and perfect for my interior style. Plus, they compliment my wreath perfectly, which was a new investment this year. One I’m so glad we made cause it looks incredible with our front door.
