A minor change to mix things up…

I love a bit of simple pantry styling. Since our kitchen lacks storage, we invested in this pantry cupboard a while ago, for extra storage. Since we’ve had a massive clean-out of the house, this pantry looked a little bare. So one afternoon on the weekend, when I was meant to be doing something else, I decided to do a simple pantry styling project.

My interior style has changed a lot in the past 12 months. I’ve really gone to a more vintage, cosy side. Ever since I discovered Coastal Grandmother’s trend, it’s really encompassed my style. I’ve always been in love with Nancy Meyer and the interiors on her sets. This is what I always aim for with my styling.

There’s definitely a theme running through my home, the colour green. I’ve been loving it and combining it with my vintage pots, it’s the perfect contrast. I also picked up this stone bird on a recent visit to my local Neptune store. It’s perfect for our home.

Now, these stone green plates were hidden at the back of a cupboard. It’s a shame to keep them hidden behind a solid door. Time to get them out on show.

If I’m honest, I’m not sure how long we’ll be keeping this cabinet. In the future, we need room for a dining table and I’m also going to be giving this kitchen a huge shake-up. I would love to change up the upper cabinets so that we can take advantage of the tall ceilings in our rental home. It would be great to get some glass doors. That way I could get some of my gorgeous pieces on display, along with my entertaining pieces. Truly, the dream would be to have my own walk-in pantry and entertaining pantry. That plan I’m saving for the dream home.
