Thinking About My Dream Yard…

Recently I’ve been thinking of my dream backyard space and what would be on my garden furniture wishlist. As you will know, we have quite a small yard, so have to really make do and maximise the space we have. With the hot weather, I’ve been thinking about what we would do with a garden if we had a larger amount of space.

Personally, I’m really inspired by the American outdoors, particularly the backyards. I would love to do something similar here in the UK but with some British twists. It all depends on the house and style. When it comes to my dream garden, I would love some form of a sitting area with a kitchen garden. A pizza oven is a must. I would love a brick one, but I’m thinking of investing in this one for now. It would be great to have a large dining table, and counter space, making way for a large entertaining space.

As for the sitting area, I’ve always been in love with an outdoor fireplace. It’s something that I’m going to be investing in for our forever home. I would love to include some outdoor sofas (these ones are gorgeous), and a coffee table. Anything that will make the space feel homely and cosy.

My Garden Furniture Wishlist.

When it comes to my garden furniture wishlist, most of it is made up of American brands. They do outdoor pieces so much better than us, I’ve also included some games and entertaining pieces. It’s all about elevating these pieces. This is very much if I had the pennies and the space, I’d 100% invest in them. For now, I’m dreaming, but one day soon I will have my gorgeous outdoor space.
