Exactly What You Need at the End of the Day…
If it hasn’t been obvious, I’ve been leaning towards non-alcoholic drinks and this Hugo Spritz mocktail is high up on my list. This drink is light, sweet and delicious. Exactly what I need after a hard days work.
For me, the journey of giving up alcohol has been a long-time coming. I’ve never been a heavy drinker, but after researching into how to reduce my roseca symptoms, I decided giving up alcohol was a simple and easy one to do. Afterall, I wasn’t about to give up coffee.
Gin cocktails are my go-to cocktails, which is why I love this Hugo Spritz mocktail so much. For the gin, I used this spiced non-alcoholic spirit. I love this brand, they have so many different flavours that can create some great mocktails.
For me, the cherry on top is the flavoured tonic water. For this, the rosemary goes perfect with the spice and the elderflower syrup. But you could also change it up. Same with the garnish. The apple is a nice crisp for the mocktail. However, you can also go for the a slice of lime or grapefruit.
Hugo Spritz Mocktail.
This mocktail is great to have in the evenings, especially on week days (no hangovers for work). I would also look to make a pitcher of this for summer garden parties. Great for when the sun is setting, with good music and good friends.
