The Easiest DIY Project You’ll Ever Do…

I cannot express enough that this DIY rub and buff mirror project is one of the easiest DIYs you’ll ever do. As I mentioned in today’s YouTube webisode, the only really difficult thing about the project is time. It turns out, after doing the project is no time at all. I honestly thought this would take a whole weekend to do, but it turns out that once the spray paint is DIY, the Rub & Buff is great to handle straight away. Now, I did give it an hour before touching it. But honestly, you can do this in a day.

Now how did this project start? Well, since doing my vintage dressing table makeover, I needed a mirror for this space. I search high and low for something to go here, but couldn’t find anything that I love, or wanted to spend that much money on. 

Finally, I found this mirror upstairs in our attic, left over by either our landlord or the previous tenants. So I claimed it as my own and gave it a makeover.

Honestly, I cannot be happier with this. I’m seriously addicted to this Rub & Buff stuff. So much so that if you watch the webisode, you’ll see that I gave something else in my home the DIY treatment. There are so many different finishes you can do with this stuff, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
