This rub and buff lamp project is ideal for beginner DIYers who are wanting a project that’s easy to do. It’s so simple it really shouldn’t be called a DIY project. You only need three things and this can be done in a day.

You may have seen on my YouTube channel where I attempted this rub and buff project on a second-hand mirror. I loved the process so much, that I decided to makeover this lamp. This lamp was my first purchase from Homesense and whilst I loved it at the time in silver, it doesn’t fit into my current interiors.

Now, this rub and buff lamp project took me about two hours to complete and I love it so much. It fits perfectly into this corner and also brings a little bit of vintage to this room. With our living room, I’m really motivated to makeover this space. However, this one will just have to wait until we can get a new sofa. This would pull the room together very nicely.
