Spring Wardrobe Updates

It’s Finally Time for Light Layers…

I’m so glad that it’s finally time for the Spring wardrobes to finally come out! I’ve been waiting so long to get my seasonal spring wardrobe out of storage and welcome back in my light shirts and linen trousers. Now, the weather is still playing with our heads (currently going to be over 19 degrees but it’s super cloudy), but that is not stopping me from dressing for the weather I want.

This season, I’m following in the same steps of my capsule work wardrobe and have really refined the summer clothes that I kept. Summer is a little funny as I think there are two types of summer clothes. You have the everyday summer wardrobe that you wear in the UK and then you have your holiday summer wardrobe. Luckily, Lee and I are finally going away, as in leaving the country, this year. To say I’m excited is an understatement.

With this in mind, I’ve really refined my everyday spring wardrobe. Light layers, a few patterns, but nothing too out there. I’ve really moved away from trendy pieces, just going for classic pieces that will stand the test of time. I will say, patterns do come out a little more in my spring wardrobe. I just like to have fun with this light season.

Something I do have my eye on is a new bag. This one, in particular, would be perfect for spring and all the way into summer.
