Channeling All the Good Vibes for the Best Year Yet…

My journey with manifestation began at the beginning of the year. I discovered this book and my mindset was completely changed. I dedicated an entire day to getting myself in the right mind frame to create a vision board for all my goals and every night I dedicate some time to practising manifestation. Whether it be reading some pages or doing a guided meditation, I’m hooked and doing it.

Truth be told, I feel like I’ve always practised manifestation without even realising it. I’ve always been a dreamer, something I use to get told off for dreaming too big. But I would visualise what I wanted my life to look like. And in some form or another, I’m living that life I dreamed of.

I’m determined to make 2022 the best year yet for me. I want to live a little more holistic and practising manifestation is a part of that. Some things that I’ve been visualising have already come to fruition, so it’s only spurred me on to do more. It’s worth noting that how I practice manifestation is a little different to the more ‘traditional’ method. However, that is the magic to manifestation, though there are key points and fundamentals to it, the journey is as individual as you are.

I highly recommend you all purchase this book if you’re interested in practising manifestation this year. And if you’re interested in how I’m incorporating it into my everyday life, here are some of my tips on how I’m practising manifestation.

Start with Your Vision Board.

First and foremost you need to get your vision board together and truly define what your goals are. For me, that meant dedicating a whole afternoon to the practice. I even booked out time in my calendar to make sure no one would disturb me.

I’m a very visual person, so whilst I did write down some very specific goals as to what I wanted, I collected a bunch of magazines so I could cut out images and words that inspired me. I lit a candle, put on some relaxing lofi jazz music and went for it. Below is just a sneak peek of my board, without showing off my goals- just yet.

The key is to get yourself to be in the best mindset and be honest and precise with what you want to achieve in the timeframe you’ve set.

You may love books. You may want to invest in a manifestation coach. However and whatever you need to ensure you’re practising manifestation to its fullest, do it.

Find Your Tribe.

What has honestly helped me on my manifesting journey is finding my tribe. Honestly, I’m not sure there are many of my friends who practice this, so it’s helpful to fill up your mental Rolodex with resources you can refer back to. Personally, I love a podcast. I have a long commute (which I adore) and I love to put on a 45-minute podcast to fill this time. Some of my favourite podcasts are The Moments That Made Me, The Mindful Sun and The Manifestation Collective with fellow Yorkshire babe Victoria. In addition, for getting ready in the morning, I really like listening to the Mindful in Minutes podcast. It’s short, sweet and exactly what I need to be in the right mind frame to start my day and achieve what I want to achieve.

Live and Practice Every Day.

Practising manifestation is not a pray-and-wait thing. In other words, you’ve got to do the work every single day. Now, that means practising self-love, gratitude, visualisation throughout your everyday. It doesn’t have to be hard and it doesn’t have to take up a lot of your time. For instance, as I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I like to dedicate some time in the evening towards it. Throughout the day, I’m finding small ways to slot it in.

Personally, I like to find inspiration in everything I come across, including envy. For instance, if I’m scrolling on Instagram and happen to find myself jealous of an image, I will always make sure to leave a positive comment. This has become second nature, allowing me to be grateful for what I’ve got and open to what the universe is going to deliver.

More importantly, at least once a day I step outside my comfort zone. Truly, in small ways or big. By doing this, I’m shifting my energy, showing the universe I’m ready for something new. I read that it takes 30 days to form a habit. Once you get started with all these small practices of manifesting, you won’t even realise you’re doing it.
