3 Smoothie Recipes to Try this Month
The Perfect Way to Kick-Start Your Day…
For the past couple of years I’ve been playing around with smoothie recipes. I’ve been having a daily smoothie for so long and my taste has really change over the years. For me, having a smoothie in the morning is the easiest way to get some breakfast into me. I’m always so busy in the morning, I need to have a grab-and-go, but something that was delicious and healthy.
Last year, I was always having my green smoothie. However this year, I’ve mixed my smoothie recipes up. I always favour a veggie smoothie over a fruit one, I like to keep the sugars down as much as possible. As you would have seen on my Instagram Stories, I also like to add protein powder, it’s always the one macro that I never hit, so this is one way to do it. Plus, my protein powder has collagen in it, which is always a plus.
These smoothie recipes can be prepped on a Sunday and placed in freezer bags for complete ease in the mornings. Simply add your protein power, liquids, blend and you’re ready to go. For me, I like to mix it up with apple juice and almond milk, as the milk makes the smoothies creamy. However, if you prefer or have allergies, oat or cows milk will work just as well.
