MY Wake-Up Call Every Morning…

I love starting my morning with a green smoothie. I’ve been having a morning green smoothie everyday weekday for over a month now. It’s made such a difference to my health and wellness. I’m not a big breakfast person, so this is ideal. I like to prep my smoothie bags on a Sunday (as you would have seen on my Instagram Stories) and store them in the freezer. Then, every morning after my workout and before I head upstairs to get ready, I take it out to allow it to defrost, but there’s still a nice icy chill to it when I come to drink it.

This morning green smoothie is packed with everything you need to start the day. The health benefits of everything that I add to it are bone strength, immunity support, lower Risk of Chronic Disease and lower cholesterol. This smoothie keeps me full for a while, so I don’t get snacky and I’ve seen such a difference to my overall health and wellness. Plus, it’s great for weight loss, if that is something you’re focusing on also.

MY MORNING GREEN SMOOTHIE.

For this morning smoothie, you’ll need the following (makes one smoothie):

1 avocado
40g baby leaf spinach
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 scoop of collagen (I use collagen creamer)
100 ml almond milk
200 ml apple juice
few mint leaves

Basically, add all the ingredients to your bottle. Blend on your blender until nice and smooth. Drink immediately and enjoy!
