Bringing Some Sunshine to My Porch…

As you guys know, I love styling up my porch for the seasons. It’s the sign that my home is ready for a change and to bring the new season into it. With the weather being oh so gorgeous in the UK, I was so ready to start my summer porch styling.

When it comes to spring and summer, I don’t go full out with my styling like I usually do in autumn/ winter. There are not many holidays happening around this time of year. That being said, I want something to greet me when I come home at the end of the day, something to stare at when I’m sat out in my garden (especially now it’s almost done).

MY SUMMER PORCH STYLING.

I started with a simple outdoor rug, I love this white and grey pattern one that I found. I wanted to make sure that it lasts throughout the summer but still sits within the neutral family. To top it off, I added this woven doormat for people to quickly wipe their feet when they come through the door.

I thought about a wreath, but I decided against it. Maybe next year, but for now I find that I have enough greenery going on outside. Mainly from my two cone trees that I love and cannot wait to decorate later on in the year (I’ve got so many ideas for Christmas!) To complete the trees, I went with these woven basket planters. They add a touch of light neutrals, that rustic summer feel.

This styling will fit perfectly with the rest of the garden, which hopefully will be completed soon. Next, is the reveal of the planter stand, which you’ve had a sneak peek of in this post. I’m truly ready to embrace this summer’s staycation vibes by creating an outdoor oasis.
