The First Quarter of the Year is Completed…
Can you believe it’s already April and I’m starting to plan my April goals. It seems like the first part of the year has flown by. We’re already starting to see warmer weather on the horizon and there’s a feeling of change in the air. Within the UK, the restrictions are starting to lift slowly and we’re starting to be able to meet up with friends and family again.
Yes, change is afoot. April is always a special time for me. It’s the month Lee and I got married, Easter is usually this month (which we’ve just celebrated) and it’s always a happy month for me. I woke up towards the end of last week wanting to push myself and really achieve goals. Here are my April goals and what I want to get done this month…
As I mentioned, this month Lee and I are celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary. Our anniversary falls on the same day that restaurants and cafes are allowed to seat people in their establishments (outside for the moment). So, Lee and I are really looking forward to having a date night away from our sofa. At a place that will cook our food and clean up for us.
In terms of our home, our garden makeover continues. I’m finishing off planting today and then getting the final bits before we get our furniture. I’m still not sure exactly what we’re doing, but I can’t wait to show it off to you guys. If you want to see how the garden makeover is going, check out the highlight on my Instagram feed.
For healthy goals in April, I’ve hit the reset button. I had a couple of weeks where I wasn’t feeling it. So I decided to hit the reset button and restart BBG again from the beginning. It’s exactly twelve weeks until hopefully our lockdown in the UK will be lifted, so I’m using this as a goal to push myself to the max. If you see my highlights on Instagram, you’ll be able to see what I’m aiming for these next couple of weeks.
One thing that I’m very proud of is that I’ve managed to go a whole week drinking a gallon of water (even when I got drunk with my girlfriends in their garden this weekend). I feel so much better about it and I cannot wait to keep it up during April.
I’m continuing to keep blogging and I’m actually starting to plan to start my YouTube channel up again. Recently, I’ve seen one of my videos take off (this one) and it’s really motivated me to make more videos.
Now, there’s another work goal that my husband and I are working on. However, I cannot talk about it just yet. It’s still in its early stages. But, as soon as I can talk about it, I cannot wait to share the news with you guys. It’s going to be my husband’s venture, but I’m going to be flexing my design muscles and a bit of marketing (this might be a big hint as to what we’re doing). Honestly, I’m bursting at the seams to tell you and I feel like such a tease. But I cannot wait once we can talk about it cause I’m not going to stop talking about it.
