A Little Bit of Whimsical on the Breakfast Table…
There’s one thing you can guarantee with Spring is colour, fun and just a little bit of magic. All of these apply when it comes to a Spring brunch. A fabulous breakfast is an ideal way to celebrate Easter. Through it won’t be the same this year, it’s a great excuse to get the members of your household together to celebrate.
Even if you didn’t have your big breakfast on Easter weekend, you can still take some Spring brunch inspiration for this month. I plan to have an outdoor celebration later on in the month. I’m keeping the food simple, some berries, our favourite treats. Decor wise, I’m going that little bit extra…
If you’re looking for some Spring brunch inspiration, I’d highly recommend investing in some pastel-coloured plates. They are great for times like this when you need a bright pop of colour. Also for times like these, you want a selection of small bowls and serving plates. They are great for small amounts of food that you want to pick at. Something else you might want to get is an egg cup, it’s great for when you do soft boil eggs with soldiers, they can patiently wait for you to be ready to tuck into them.
Something else that I’ve done as part of my Spring brunch inspiration is these adorable bunny napkins. Using the eggs that I had already soft boiled, I placed the napkin around it and tied it with some twine. Finally, you cannot go wrong with decorating your table with some fabulous tulips. They are the quintessential Spring flower, ideal for adding some colour. Go for the loudest and brightest ones you can get.
