Gardening Books I’m Wanting to Add to My Collection
When Two Obsessions Meet…
If it hasn’t become obvious, I’ve got a new obsession with gardening. This has now spread to my other obsession coffee table books, with me now starting to collect gardening books. I’m getting there with planning our garden makeover. However, I’m fast understanding that it is a whole different ballgame than planning interiors. There’s a lot more to it.
For a starter gardening book, I’d recommend this one called Green. It’s a great book for showing you different styles, giving you colour palettes, etc. For something with a little more wow-factor, you cannot go wrong with Gardenista. It’s so inspiring, filled with some amazing gardens. Though I only have a small courtyard, I’m already planning what I would do for a large yard.
As with most coffee table books, I’m wanting to add more to my collection. I will say, it’s not all about planting. I’m looking for gardening books that are about outdoor entertaining and living. I love the idea that your garden is an additional room to your home. Even though in the UK we don’t have a lot of always sunshine weather, I’m excited to create a space that I know I’m going to be living in this summer.
