November Goals
My Birthday Month is Finally Here!
It’s officially November, which not only means it’s time for my monthly goals post, but it’s also my birthday month. This year, it’s a big birthday for me, my 30th birthday. If I’m honest it’s a little bittersweet. I’m not one to usually doing anything big for my birthday. Just with it being so later on in the year, I understand when people aren’t able to always celebrate with me. However, this year, I was determined to live it big and really have a birthday month. This isn’t going to be the case this month, with local restrictions that have come into play today.
However, despite everything, I’m determined to make the most of it being my birthday month. I’m going to get with some friends, somehow (even if it’s virtually), I’m going to drink bubbles pretty much all throughout the month and I’m going to ring in this new phase of my life in style. Whatever happens, I’m excited to turn 30 this year.

HEALTH GOALS.
I’m still on the fitness bandwagon, and very much loving it. Thanks to the darker evenings, I’ve had to switch my daily walks around so they are done in the mornings, but I still get all my workouts in and feeling the burn! However, we are heading into a celebratory season. So I’m not going to deny myself during this month, but not go crazy. Trying to find a nice balance.
FAMILY GOALS.
It’s all going to be about celebrating this month. Whatever opportunity I get to celebrate, I’m taking it. Life is too short also to delay happiness, so I’m decorating for Christmas a lot earlier for Christmas this year. Usually, I’d wait until mid-November, but not this year. I’m going to be baking Christmas cookies and enjoying as much as I can. Anything to bring a bit of magic into the everyday.
WORK GOALS.
My work goal this November is a decor based one. Since I’m going to be continuing to work from home for the rest of 2021, it’s time for a home office grow-up. I’ve loved my space when we first started doing the WFH thing, but recently the cracks have started to show. So the home office is going to be moved, updated and turned into a more adulting space. I can’t wait to show off the makeover once it’s all done (with a little bit of DIY in the process…)
