New Job, New Excuse for a New Work From Home Wardrobe…
If you guys don’t follow me on Instagram, then you may not know that from today, I’m starting a new job! After three years plus in my previous role, I’m ready for a new opportunity. I’ll still be working from the home office for the time being, but this isn’t putting me off from accepting the challenge and completely bossing it. With the new job comes a lot of things that I’ve wanted to change up. Mainly my work from home wardrobe.
I don’t know about you but I’m fed up with my clothes. I hate everything in my wardrobe. If I don’t wear leggings to my desk, it’s a miracle. However, with this new role and the realisation that we are going to be in our homes for a little longer, that I seriously want to elevate my work from home uniform. No leggings allowed.
THE NEW WARDROBE CHALLENGE.
I’m setting myself the challenge of changing up my working wardrobe. I’ve brought myself some new pieces that I’m already in love with and have spent most of my the week I had off testing out new outfit combinations (a la Cher’s wardrobe computer system, but less fancy). I’m not going too crazy. With the winter weather having a bad effect on my skin, I really don’t want to wear anything tight with a proper waistband. However, I have invested in some good quality smart trousers, like these chocolate jeggings. I’ve also brought joggers for the first time in my life. However, these joggers are made from silk (obviously. You’ll never catch me in proper ones) which are a complete game-changer.
I’m also interested in more skirts and knitted dresses. This red number is a fabulous one to feel like I’m in an actual office. I’m also excited to start wearing my blazers again. I have some great ones that are less structured and would be perfect for wearing to the home office.
I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready for this investment and to elevate my work from home wardrobe. This fabulous opportunity and just turning 30 has made me want to really boss everything and set up my game.
