August Goals
Heading towards the End of the Year…
It’s a new month, which means it’s time for me to look towards the goals for this month. I’m slightly late for my monthly goals but for good reason. I hit a wall last weekend and knew I needed a break. Honestly, I just lack inspiration and I needed a reset. I’m so thankful that I did because I’ve come back with ideas and motivation to get back to my OG. I know so many people tell me to forget about the blog and look towards other channels. But honestly, I couldn’t. I’ve seen an increase in traffic last month and I feel a blog comeback happening.
With this in mind, it’s making me think about my August goals. Especially in my work goals categories. Here is what I planned to achieve this month…
HEALTH GOALS.
I’m still working out regularly and I recently revealed on Instagram Stories that I’ve lost a stone over the last three months. Last month, my weight has plateaued and I think it’s mainly down to diet, again. I’m going back to my eating plan. Lots of fresh fish, veggies and salads. I’m not restricting myself in any way, I’ll have a sweet treat if I want one. But I’m treating my body to the good stuff.
I’m also looking forward to getting back into hiking. I miss The Yorkshire Moors and long walks with my husband. I’m hoping that we’ll be able to get out one weekend this month.
FAMILY GOALS.
Something that I’ve also spoken about on my Instagram, but I’m heading towards working on some ‘Rental Renos’. This has all started because my dear parents are gifting me a freestanding fridge-freezer. And with that, a whole change started. My landlord agreed for me to get rid of the current fridge and changeup that space to make way for more cupboard space. I’m working with a brand on covering the tiles and have talked my husband in painting the kitchen. I’m going to getting my interiors on and I cannot wait to share this journey with you. I know it’s going to start more potential renovations so watch this space…
Another one of my August goals is working on my savings. I’m so close to saving a thousand pounds for an emergency fund (to start with). Shortly I’ll be working towards saving to Paris, which hopefully will happen next year. It was supposed to be this November, which still could happen. However, for the birthday holiday that I want, I think it’s worth waiting for 2021 and really living it up.
WORK GOALS.
Along with my saving goals above, I’m looking to work towards earning some more pennies. I’m looking at starting a new side hustle that I want to use to help inspire female entrepreneurs. I’m also going to keep throwing myself into the blog and building up my reach on Pinterest. Pinterest is buzzing right now and I’m looking forward to building up my presence. I’m also looking forward to building guides to help other influencers/ bloggers to help them in their journey. I want to help others achieve their goals and dreams and if I can help in any way possible, I’m more than happy to do so.
