Getting Out of My Head and Listening to Something Good…
One of my favourite things to do as part of my morning routine is to go on a walk. I use to do running, but I find going for long walks, with a travel coffee and putting on some good podcast that I love listening to. Podcasts are my go-to listening, I much prefer them to music. The podcasts I love listening to do vary in subject and category, but I really do enjoy them all. Depending on the day, depends on which one I listen to. I hope this list gives you some inspiration or a new show to listen to. I’ve shared a few of my favourites on Instagram, but here is the full list of the podcasts that I love listening to…
This is my to-go podcast on a Monday afternoon/ Tuesday morning walk. Started by The Financial Diet, it’s a great listen to get a great understanding of finances, opening up the conversation of debt, earnings, etc. Most of the episodes are experts/ people who have made their fortune. My favourite, however, is episode 30, which is Chelsea’s honest account of starting from zero, paying off debt, etc. A great one to listen to before I start on my budget.
This is a great interiors podcasts by the founders of Alice Lane interiors. I love listening to it and dreaming of how I would decorate a home once we buy one. They have some great advice on how to combine lifestyle and interiors so they live in harmony. They talk about living luxury and how things should be laid out in a home. A great one for anyone who loves all things interiors.
I love Jenna Kutcher and her Goal Digger Podcast. If I ever need a career/ blogging boost, this is the podcast I go to. Jenna has such good nuggets and is always interviewing experts in certain areas. I love her chats with her life/ business coach, his words always give me a boost. Whenever I listen to it I always want to grab my laptop and blast out some posts or a project I’m working on.
Now, this one I haven’t listened to yet. But it’s Michelle Obama, you know it’s going to be good. Interviewing people who have inspired her in her life, you know this one will be a great one for afternoon walk inspiration. The first episode is with her husband and I cannot wait to download it and give a listen.
If you need a girly catch up with some gal pals, this is the podcast for you. Started by the Try Wives, these four ladies sit around and catch about everything going on with their lives, offering advice and ‘relationship court’. It’s a great one for switching off your brain, relaxing and getting chilled for the weekend.
