June Goals
My June Goals & What I want to Achieve…
I feel like I blinked and May was gone and June was here. I cannot believe that I’m starting to write up my June goals and we’re officially halfway through 2020. Such a crazy year that no one ever expected. This month also marks somewhat halfway towards by 30th birthday. I’m excited to be entering that chapter in my life. At the same time, it’s bittersweet. I had plans to go to Paris and it seems like this idea is getting further and further away from me. Though I’m okay with the idea of not travelling, it’s still sad that my plans aren’t going ahead.
With this in mind, I’m doing everything I can make what I can happen now. Like I said in my May Goals, I’ve changed it up slightly, focusing on three areas of my life. For my June goals, I’m sticking to this idea, making sure that they are things I absolutely what I want to do. I want to create some excitement and joy in life right now. And that’s exactly what I’m going to do here.
HEAlTH GOAL.
Continuing with the fitness streak my husband and I have been on, I’m upping my workouts at the start of this month. I’m going to be working out six times a week and continuing with the cardio. I’ve swapped my runs for hour-long hikes first thing in the morning (as you would have seen on my Instagram Stories) and it’s been working a treat.
Food-wise, I’m still making sure I’m eating healthily but still treating myself. Wine has become the weekend treat that I look forward to. Rose, of course, for these lovely summer months.
FAMILY GOAL.
I’m back at looking after our home. I’ve been growing things in pots that I’m starting to be rewarded for (my strawberries are almost there!) and I’m going to be working on transforming our kitchen door this month as part of the garden makeover. I’m also going to be giving our home office a new coat of paint on the walls. I’m also expecting some wall decals to be delivered any day soon so that I can create a feature wall behind my desk. Also, I’m waiting on a rug to be delivered from La Redoute that’s going to complete the room. Slowly but surely doing up the home, as always.
WORK GOAL.
Work-wise, I’m continuing with some online studying that I started last month for my job. The focus is on Paid Social and PPC. I’m hoping that I will be sorted with these very soon, fingers crossed! Also, I’m also pushing myself with the blog, doing loads of work on the back of the website to boost it. Looking at other ways I can take the blog, what I can do to provide useful resources for you lovely lot. Honestly, I’m not sure which way it’s going to go, but I’m excited to go on the journey.
