April Goals
A Quarter of the Way Through the Year…
With everything that is going on in the world, it feels weird to be writing out my April goals. This time that we are in the world right now is truly a strange time. And whilst I don’t want to gloss over what is happening right now (and my thoughts are with anyone affected by the virus). Right now, I feel we could all do with an escape. Which is what I hope to provide with my little corner of the internet. Both with my blog and my Instagram. I’m not glossing over the issue, but I cannot provide an educated insight (I’m no doctor). So for now, I want to say my thoughts are with everyone and I hope this can pass over quickly and we can all learn something from this experience.
April is one of my favourite months. It’s that perfect weather time (I love mid-season weather) for how I love to dress. It’s also great weather for being outside and chilling. Also, it’s an uplifting season for my mood. I feel new, fresh and ready to take on new challenges.
Here are my April goals for the upcoming month…
CELEBRATE MY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.
I still cannot believe it’s been three years since Lee and I eloped in New York. And though I still cannot remember the date (I know this year it’s Easter) I wouldn’t change anything about the day or our marriage. I plan to do an elopement Q&A with Lee on my YouTube channel in case any of you lovely lot have any questions about the whole process.
Celebration wise, we were meant to be heading to Edinburgh. This will just have to wait until another time. I think as the actual day is on Easter we’ll go for a hike (practising social distancing) and treat ourselves to a takeaway the night before. The three year anniversary is leather and as we’re not travelling anymore, perhaps I should treat myself to a leather bag (and Lee oh course). We’ll just have to wait and see.
CONTINUE WORKING OUT EARLY IN THE MORNINGS.
Most of you may not know, but since mid-March, I’ve been getting up at 6:00 am each morning to work out before work. It’s been amazing to get a workout completed each and every morning with no excuses! It’s a great way to start your day. Now that I’ve committed to this for the last couple of weeks, I want to ensure I continue to do this into April. This, along with a commitment to change my diet is a key one of my April goals that I want to achieve.
START WORK ON OUR OFFICE RENOVATION.
It’s time for the final rental renovation! Now that we’ve finished the bathroom, it’s time to move onto the last room of our home. This is our office/ guest bedroom. Notice that I’ve said started and not complete. I’m not kidding myself when it comes to this makeover, this one is going to take us a while. Mainly, the room has become a dumping ground and needs a cleanout. This is something that I want to achieve in April. I want to do a huge clear out and get everything organised and clean ready for the decor part. I’ll be tracking the progress on my Instagram Stories, so be sure to be following me on there to see the progress.
