March Goals
Well, thank god it’s March!
Oh my goodness! Well, February was a hard month for me. Not only did it feel like the longest month ever (even longer than January!) but it felt like everything happened at once. I honestly don’t feel like until this weekend that I’ve had a proper rest. Thank goodness that I stuck to my February goals and batched my content. It meant this weekend I did hardly any work and it was glorious to have a weekend to actually relax and enjoy.
My March goals are somewhat similar to my February goals. I’m focusing on renovations, finances and health this month. All these I will be tracking on my Instagram feed, as well as revealing the bathroom makeover on my new YouTube channel this month. Here are my March goals and what I intend to achieve…
ACTUALLY COMPLETE THE BATHROOM MAKEOVER.
With the craziness of February, though I managed to collect the pieces I needed for the bathroom makeover, I never actually got around to completing it. However, this time, my husband and I have a schedule that we are sticking to in order to complete this. This is one of the March goals I know I’m 100% going to complete. This makeover is a long time coming and I’m excited to see the finished results.
HAVE TWO NO SPENDING WEEKS.
My finances took a hit in February. I felt like I was constantly spending money and I had no real idea on what I actually spent it on. This month, Lee and I are challenging ourselves to two no spending weeks. Apart from automatic bills, we will not spend a penny from Friday night (after our weekly food shop) until the next Friday evening. In concept, this should be simple to do. However, I have feeling it’s going to be much harder to actually complete. I will, of course, document this next month in case anyone else is up for the challenge and want to see how I actually got on. Wish me luck.
INCREASE MY FITNESS AND HEALTH.
Though I’ve continued to do my Sweat workouts every week, I feel like there is more I can do for my health and fitness. Especially my diet. This month, I’m going to increase my workouts and push to do some more hikes. I actually really love going out onto the Yorkshire Moors and getting out in the fresh air. Diet-wise, I feel like since I stopped my sugar-free challenge, I’ve fallen off the wagon. So I think I’m going to jump back on and continue the challenge, at least up until Easter (cause, you know, Easter Eggs!) I feel like this one will be easy enough to do, considering I’ve done it before and I know what to expect.
