2019 September Goals

  an edited lifestyle september goals

Fresh starts for the new month ahead…

September is one of my favourite months, partly because I’m addicted to that fresh start feeling. I always loved the start of the school year and that feeling of new beginnings. My school years are behind me now. But that doesn’t mean I can’t replicate that ‘fresh starts’ feeling in my life. I like to think of September as the beginning of the year. Though I’m not setting any yearly goals, this is when I like to have habits I want to put in place to start, so that I can continue them into the next year. I will talk about this later in another post, but for now, here are my 2019 September goals…

COMPLETE OUR  BEDROOM MAKEOVER.

As I spoke about in my last monthly goals, we started our bedroom makeover. This makeover is small compared to the other makeovers I’ve done. This makeover involves mainly painting the walls and changing the light, but I’m excited to get it completed. Once the paintwork is done, I get to do some fun bits, soft furnishings! Can’t wait to show this makeover with you lovely lot.

CONTINUE WITH LUNCH MEAL PREPPING.

Recently, to ensure I don’t stop at Waitrose every day to grab lunch, I’ve started meal prepping on a Sunday afternoon. It’s been a little life-changing, I’ve got constant lunches and more time on my hands in the evenings during the week. One of my September goals is to turn this into a habit. Hopefully, I will work this into meal prepping for our weekday dinners. I’m talking about it a bit more on my Instagram, so do go check out my stories if you’re interested in finding out more about my journey.

CONTINUE TO CONTINUE WITH MY BLOG GLOW UP.

Again, another goal from last month that has moved into this month. It’s taking longer than I thought but I’m excited to share this with you lovely lot when it is completed (hello, new layout!) Priority right now is to continue to build my email newsletter list, which is growing in strength each week. If you haven’t signed up to The Weekend Edit, I strongly urge you to do so. I pride myself on providing inspiring content and information within these newsletters and I believe my subscribers agree with me. My blog comes first, even before Instagram so I’m really happy to be investing more time and effort into it.

What are your 2019 September goals?
