My Favourite Candles

Because there’s nothing lovelier than a luxury candle…

Spending money on luxury candles isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. But for me, it honestly makes a difference to our home. Along with a longer burning time, they smell incredible. Even when not lit!

With luxury candles, the care and attention you give them after you burn them. I like to ensure that I’m always burning my candles for no more than a few hours at a time. Unfortunately, I’ve yet to buy myself wick scissors so that they burn easily. I basically haven’t found a pair that I’m in love with yet. Basically, I want a very pretty pair that will look great in Instagram photos. Eventually, I will invest in some. But for now, I’m having fun searching for ‘the ones’.

Depending on what mood I’m in, depends on which of my luxury candles I will burn. If I need to change my mood in any way, I always go for the Neom candles. Their scent to make you happy is my favourite one, however, their scent to sleep is the one that I constantly have burning in my bedroom. They are a great gift to give someone, any time I’ve presented them to someone, their face has always lit up in delight.

Always burning…

For a real showstopper, I’m obsessed with The White Company candles. I constantly have one on display or burning throughout the seasons. The fact they do these gorgeous seasonal pillar candles each quarter fills me with delight. My favourite scents from The White Company are their Autumn and Christmas candles, they fill the house with a gorgeous scent and make our home feel nice and cosy.

Finally, for a statement, you can’t go wrong with a Jo Malone candle. Now confession time, I personally, have never burnt a Jo Malone candle. My amazing besties got me one for my birthday last year which I love. However, it’s too special and I don’t dare burn it until I have a backup and I’ve moved into a house that we own. Once we’re in that position, I will be burning it all night long! I have though smelt a burning Jo Malone candle and it is utterly divine. These people just know what they are doing with scents. The dream would be to own one of the mahoosive ones! That would be the bougie life that we would all love to live in.
