2019 February Goals

Thank god it’s February!

Does anyone else feel like that January was 2536 days long? And February is a five-week month this year! January was long and I’m so happy to see February and get on with the rest of the year.

And with a new month comes new goals. January goals were actually okay and some were achieved (I don’t want to talk about the kitchen… yet). I’m rather proud that I kept up being vegetarian and I’ve drunk more water in the last month than I have ever done before. I’ve decided to continue to be vegetarian for the foreseeable future, which I’m going to write about in a later post.

Here are my plans and my 2019 February goals…

2019 February goals…
REARRANGE THE LIVING ROOM.

Now that we’ve finally painted that last wall in the living room, it’s now time to rearrange it. I’ve been thinking about moving furniture around for a while and there are also new things that we desperately need to purchase. The two important things being a new TV stand (a long time coming this one) and a new coffee table. There will most likely be an Ikea trip during this month and a bit of a DIY hack, so stay tuned…

IMPROVE ON GOING TO THE GYM.

I’m happy to stay that apart from one week, I’ve managed to go to the gym pretty regularly. Now, it’s time to up this performance. I’m going about twice a week and now it’s time to up it to three times a week. I love doing classes at the gym, but there are only two days that have the perfect classes for my schedule. So I’m in need of a workout day. I recently downloaded the Sweat app with a free trial. I’m yet to try it, but I’m going to make sure next week this happens. Wish me luck.

CREATE BATCH LUNCH ROUTINE.

I’m terrible at getting lunch into my day. It’s not so much that I don’t have the time for it, I just don’t have the creativity for inspiring lunches. I need to get into the habit of planning lunches with my dinners and batch cooking/ organising them on a Sunday. So I’m heading to Pinterest to get some ideas and start making this part of my routine. If you have any ideas, let me know, I’m open to all ideas.

FINISH THE KITCHEN.

This is 100% happening! Seriously, Lee and I cannot put this off any longer. I want to get my dream kitchen sorted and we’ve not got that long to go. We simply got to paint the cabinets and do over the counters. This is all for blog posts that I desperately want to get done and now that the floor has finally been fitted, we’ve got no excuse not to crack on!

What are your February goals?
