It’s My Birthday Month!
I love this month. And not just because it’s my birthday month, but it’s that magical month of being half Autumn and half Winter. It’s chilly but there’s a sparkle in the air. And we’re slowly moving towards Christmas. Now, I’m reluctant to celebrate Christmas just yet. I always have a strick to the rule that no one can speak about Christmas to me until the 24 November. However, I’m rather excited to start the Christmas content on the blog a little early this year. Not too early (let’s not get ahead of ourselves) but I have some rather festive collaborations I’m working on. And I cannot wait to show them to you lovely readers.
There are also some other things that I need to get done this month. This month is becoming incredibly fast past, and my calendar is getting so full up already. So with this in mind, let’s get started on my November goals…
My November Goals
01. Celebrate my birthday. From yesterday, I put on my birthday crown and I’m not taking it off until the end of the month. My birthday falls on Black Friday this year (last year it was Thanks Giving) so I plan to treat myself with a few goodies and celebrate in style. I’ve got a meal planned on the Saturday after my birthday, and my gorgeous girls have said they have something else planned for me and won’t tell me what it is. I hate surprises. I cannot wait…
02. Complete the kitchen makeover. This month is the month of the kitchen. I’ve been working with some great brands to turn this rental kitchen into something gorgeous. I’ve previously talked about my plans for the kitchen and I’ve got all the base materials, it’s just about getting started. With November’s calendar starting to fill up, I’ve got to get started. Then, I can start with the pretty things.
03. Plan out festive content. Just as November’s calendar is filling up, so is December’s. It’s full of exciting events but also, because I only blog on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I’ve got limited spaces for festive content. I’ve got a few posts already lined up and a few more that I need to work on. I am also very much open to any ideas that you lovely lot have.
