There are three things I love about interiors. Stacks of coffee table books, anything that screams a Scandi-vibe and home fragrances. Home fragrance is so important to me. It’s the one thing that can make or break a room. Forget how it looks, if it doesn’t smell great- ain’t no one going in that room.
I love Christmas scents. It’s a warm, cosy smell- it’s so inviting and welcoming. One of my must-have purchases, other than a few new baubles for the tree, is Christmas candles. They sit firmly on my living room table and the first thing I do when I get home from work. Usually, I only go for one candle at Christmas, but this year I have been converted.
Now, a slight disclaimer. This post was meant to feature three brands. The idea to give a great review of all different Christmas scents that you can pick up during this festive period. However, I could not find a third brand. Don’t get wrong, I did look. I tried guys but failed. There’s a specific type of Christmas scent that I like. It’s deep, warming and welcoming. Personally, I cannot stand any of those sugary, sweet smells. Hense the issues with finding a third scent. However, the two I have are amazing. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
My ultimate Christmas scent has to be from The White Company. I started with the small one in a glass. Now, I’ve upgraded to the Botanical Pillar Candle. It’s full of citrus scents, cinnamon and cloves. This is Christmas in a candle. My candle from last year is still going (they really do last!) and I was lucky enough to get one for my birthday. For now, they sit in the bedroom. Lit for a few hours and my bedroom is so snuggly I’m ready to curl up and snooze the night away. Next year, I’m hoping to convince my husband to get the Large Botanical Pillar Candle. Wish me luck!
A New Discovery!
Recently, I was introduced to Neom Organics’s new Christmas product collection. There’s a whole range of products that are ideal to gift to someone this Christmas. Their Christmas scents collection is to die for! They have two scents, Perfect Peace and Christmas Wish. Both different but equally gorgeous.
Christmas Wish is very much a traditional scent. Soothing, it’s blended to help you relax and unwind. The scent is a mixture of cinnamon, mandarin and tonka bean, along with 11 other essential oils. Both scents are available in this amazing, which comes with one wick candle and a room spray. A little bit of the room spray over your sofa and you’re in for a treat! Currently, this candle is on my coffee table. A new fave!
Perfect Peace is a little different to what I would usually go for. However, I love this scent. A gorgeous scent of pine, myrrh and lime peel (plus 22 essential oils)- it’s light and fresh, but still cosy. The candles come as either one wick or three wicks- a lovely little Christmas stocking filler.sits on our sideboard in our living room. I’m now alternating between these two scents, depending on my mood.
I’m so glad that Neom Organics have come up with some great Christmas scents this year. Definitely, has been added to my list as things to stock up on for next Christmas. Especially the room scent, I don’t think you can go wrong with having that in your home during the festive period. Which of the Christmas scents is your favourite?
