I am very lucky to be sent thing to try out and test for the blog, but nothing has gotten me more excited than being asked to receive a box full of cured meat. When Carnivore Club asked if I would be okay being sent a meat box to try out and hear my thoughts; I jumped at the chance!
Now I am the same as you guys, I have never heard of a meat subscription box. Beauty yes, lifestyle, love. But never a food box. Enter Carnivore Club, a meat subscription box that picks out different charcuterie from the best of the best. Each month a box will be sent to you with pre- selected meats from artisans that purchased ethically treated animals, employ humane slaughtering practices and use locally sourced ingredients.
My box was meats from Deli Farms Charcuterie, husband and wife team Martin and Jean Edwards. This couple make the best charcuterie in their home at Bodmin Moor. A selection of sliced meats and sausage, I tucked into a meats and cheese board night on my newly decorated balcony (the last time since this rain began!) The meat was delicious, I particularly loved the smoked pancetta.
